What is it all about?
Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.
The one-hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.
Activities for Squirrels
Sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life. Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring programme. We believe in learning through doing in an inclusive atmosphere, we therefore focus on participation, rather than meeting set standards.
Badges
There are a range of badges and challenge awards that Squirrels can gain to recognise their achievements. From being a Brilliant Builder to becoming a Local Hero our activity badges get them, exploring the world around them, taking responsibility and learning new skills. Whatever their interest there is sure to be a badge to capture their imagination.

Meetings
We currently have 1 Squirrel Drey run by our amazing volunteers. Running a programme full of the fun and adventure of Scouting in a safe and friendly environment.
