Last weekend, our Scout group came together to celebrate St. George’s Day with a fantastic afternoon of fun, food, and community spirit.
The event brought together all sections, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts, along with their families, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved. Activities and games kept young people entertained throughout the afternoon, while a BBQ and campfire gave everyone the chance to relax, share stories, and enjoy time together outdoors.
A highlight of the day was the presentation of several Chief Scout Awards, recognising the hard work, commitment, and achievements of our young people. These awards are a significant milestone in Scouting, and it was a proud moment for all those who received them in front of family and friends.
Events like this are a great reminder of the strength of our Scout community and the importance of bringing people together.
